CityNet Congress 2017

CityNet Congress 2017 was successfully held in Colombo from 05^th to 08^th November 2017.     Hon. Ranil Wickramasinghe, Prime Minister was the Chief Guest and Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, Speaker was the Guest of Honour. Hon. Park Won Soon, Mayor of Seoul delivered the key note speech. We had nearly 250 Foreign delegates in addition to heads of international organizations, foreign diplomats, ministers, governors and over 100 local participants thus making it a truly international event.

The Colombo Municipal Council is a founder member and continuing Executive Committee Member of CityNet since 1987. CityNet comprises over 138 members from 22 countries from the Asia Pacific Region.

We are proudly announce that Colombo has been re-elected to the Executive Committee receiving the highest number of votes.
