Exposure visit of the delegates from the Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works, Maldives

The delegates from the Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works, Maldives visited CMC on October 16, 2024. The primary objective of the visit was to enhance the Ministry's capabilities by learning from Colombo's municipal practices.

The Deputy Minister and State Ministers of the Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works, Maldives, and The Second Secretary and Third Secretary of the High Commission of the Maldives were in the delegation.

The Municipal Commissioner, Mrs. J.M. Bhadranie Jayawardhana, Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Engineering Services), Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Administration), Heads of Department, and directors were present at the event.

Director Engineering (Traffic Design & Road Safety Division) Eng. P.A. Chandrapala delivered and explained a presentation on the CMC Profile.

The delegates from the Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works, Maldives, and CMC Officials visited the Fire Services Department, the Pumping Station at the Fish Market, and the Newly completed Sports Complex (Stanley Jansz) of the CMC.
