Vihara Maha Devi Park, a beloved leisure destination for the citizens of Colombo, offers a serene space for recreation and outdoor activities. Among its many attractions, bicycle riding stands out as a favorite, promoting active lifestyles and innovative use of public spaces.

 

To further enhance visitor experiences and encourage fitness and eco-friendly transportation, the Colombo Municipal Council with the collaboration of  City Cycle Manufactures (Pvt) Ltd (Lumala bicycles) has introduced a bicycle rental station at the park on 20 December 2024. This initiative aims to provide an accessible and enjoyable way for visitors to explore the park while fostering a culture of health and sustainability.
