Project Milestone Update | Colombo Goes Green

We are proud to present the Interim Report of the Pre-Feasibility Study on Methane Capture from Organic Waste in the City of Colombo!

This groundbreaking initiative is part of our continued efforts toward a sustainable and climate-resilient Colombo. The project explores the potential for methane gas recovery from organic waste — a key step in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting clean energy solutions.

A joint technical team representing the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) and SUSA, along with expert consultants from South Korea, is collaborating closely with local authorities and stakeholders to assess feasibility, technology options, and implementation models suitable for Colombo’s urban environment.

Together, we aim to transform waste into green energy, reduce the environmental footprint, and support our journey towards a circular economy. Stay tuned for more updates as we move toward the final feasibility stage!
