Courtesy Visit of the Resident Representative of the UNDP in Sri Lanka to the Colombo Municipal Council

On August 12, 2025, Ms. Azusa Kubota, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sri Lanka, accompanied by officials from UNDP Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy visit to the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC).

The visit was undertaken to extend their warm congratulations to Her Worship the Mayor of Colombo, Ms. Vraie Cally Balthazaar.

The UNDP delegation was graciously welcomed by Her Worship the Mayor, along with the Deputy Mayor, the Municipal Commissioner, and the Deputy Commissioner (Engineering Services).

This visit marked a cordial and constructive exchange, further strengthening the longstanding partnership between the UNDP and the Colombo Municipal Council.
