Visit of the Country Director of the British Council Sri Lanka, to the Colombo Municipal Council

On September 10, 2025, Mr. Orlando Edwards, Country Director of the British Council Sri Lanka, paid an official visit to the Colombo Municipal Council.

The purpose of the visit was to share insights into the British Council’s work in the creative industries and the creative economy, both in Sri Lanka and globally. The discussions highlighted the growing importance of the creative sector and explored potential areas for collaboration.

Her Worship the Mayor, Ms. Vraie Cally Balthazaar, warmly welcomed Mr. Orlando Edwards and engaged in a constructive dialogue on fostering creativity and cultural exchange within the city of Colombo.
