Capacity Building Program to Address Growing Vaccine Hesitancy

Recognizing vaccine hesitancy as a major public health concern, the Colombo Municipal Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, organized a capacity-building program for healthcare workers and religious leaders. The program aimed to empower participants with accurate knowledge and effective communication strategies to promote vaccine confidence within their communities.

The event was held on the 29th of October at the Town Hall Auditorium, bringing together key stakeholders committed to strengthening public trust in vaccination and safeguarding community health.
