Advanced Locksmith Skill Training Programme

The importance of a vehicle locksmith is extremely high in the Sri Lankan context. Especially with the increasing number of vehicles equipped with modern technology, a professional auto locksmith is essential not only to solve issues related to vehicle locks and keys, but also to ensure vehicle security and efficiency, and to provide a hassle-free service during emergency situations.

At the request of Municipal Councilor Mr. Ramsi Tony, this training programme was jointly organized by Tony Keys and the Colombo Municipal Council. The programme was conducted for officers involved in vehicle maintenance at the Municipal Workshop, as well as individuals engaged in vehicle locksmith services.

The programme was held on 21.01.2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the Sapari piyasa Auditorium, and on 22.01.2026 at the Municipal Workshop. The resource contribution was provided by three officers from Tony Keys who have received specialized training in locksmith skills.

• Latest Immobilizer Systems
• OBD & EEPROM Programming
• All Key Lost Techniques

This programme was successfully concluded under the continuous guidance of Colombo Municipal Council, Her Worship the Mayor Ms. Vraie Cally Balthazaar and Municipal Commissioner Mr. Palitha Nanayakkara, with the participation on the opening day of Deputy Mayor Mr. Hemantha Weerakoon, Municipal Councilor Mr. Ramsi Tony, Director of the Municipal Workshop Eng. P.M.S. Liyanage, along with the Director of the Human Resources Development Department, Mrs. Nadika Damayanthi, and the coordination of the staff.
