The Iftar Programme

The Iftar Programme was organized by the Colombo Municipal Council Muslim Members’ Forum on March 17, 2026, at the Members’ Room of the Colombo Municipal Council.

The event was graced by the presence of Her Worship the Mayor, Ms. Vraie Cally Balthazaar, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Hon. Deputy Mayor Mr. Hemantha Weerakoon, who participated as the Guest of Honour. Members of the Municipal Council, along with the staff of the Colombo Municipal Council, were also in attendance.

The occasion was held in a warm, respectful atmosphere that fostered unity, harmony, and goodwill among all present.
