Visit of the German Table Tennis team – TTV SCHWARZENBERG / Germany

The German table tennis team, TTV Schwarzenberg/Germany, visited CMC on February 14, 2024. The purpose of the visit was to have a friendly meeting with the Colombo TT players at the St. Thomas College Indoor Stadium on the same day and to donate a few table tennis items to the Colombo Municipal Council.

The CEO of the Asian German Sports Exchange Program (AGSEP), President of the TTV Schwarzenberg, Members of the first team TTV Schwarzenberg were in the delegation.

The Municipal Commissioner, Mrs. J.M. Bhadranie Jayawardhana, Heads of Departments, Directors were present at the event.

The German table tennis team donated the table tennis equipment worth about 300,000 rupees for the Community board table tennis players of the Sports and Recreation Department.
