Prathishedha Phantaya is based on a traditional recipe from Sri Lankan traditional medicinal system in the form of panta preparation. It is having the total effects of antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, immune enhancing and Pitta Kapha Shamaka (Pacifying Pitta and Kapha Doshas) properties which is benefited for the subside respiratory disorders with fever such as COVID 19. Zingiber officinale consists the pharmacological actions of appetite stimulant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-hyperglycemic, anti-hyperlipidemic and anti-emetic and Coriandrum sativum is having anticonvulsant, memory enhancement, neuroprotective, antibacterial, antifungal, anthelmintic, insecticidal, antioxidant, cardiovascular, hypolipidemic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antidiabetic, anticancer, hepatoprotective, detoxification actions. Furthermore, Mollugo cerviana have pharmacological activities of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, antipyretic, anticancer and antioxidant and Coscinium fenestratum consist the effects of anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidants, antipyretic, antifungal, antibacterial, hypotensive, anti-hyperglycemic activity, anti-proliferative, anti-hepatotoxic, antiulcer, anticancer etc. By considering these pharmacological actions these are beneficial to prevent the spread of the COVID- 19 pandemic in the community.
